Anti-Semitism among Muslim Youth | Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung

Dichotomes Denken, Exklusivitätsanspruch, die Unfähigkeit eine eigene Meinung zu bilden und zu äußern, das Verbot, dem Kollektiv zu widersprechen und das Pflegen der Opferrolle sind Eigenschaften, die in kollektiven Gesellschaften vorhanden sind. Solche patriarchalisch geprägten Strukturen fördern das kritische Denken nicht und verhindern, dass Jugendliche die kollektive und vorgegebene Haltung in Frage stellen. Häufig werden antisemitische, aber auch traditionelle und religiöse Meinungen unreflektiert von den Eltern, Verwandten oder der Peer-Group übernommen. Deshalb muss das Ziel pädagogischer Arbeit sein, diese Jugendlichen zu motivieren, sich selbstständig ihre eigene Meinung zu bilden. Dabei muss kritisches Denken das Hauptziel der politischen Bildung in schulischen und außerschulischen Institutionen sein – und zwar nicht nur bezüglich der antisemitischen Problematik.
